Why it matters

Spacing is the difference
between intentional and off

What separates an accent wall that looks designed from one that looks like a weekend project.

Layout planned before install
Batten spacing and pattern alignment mapped out against your wall's actual width, so the pattern lands evenly instead of ending in an awkward partial gap.
Properly anchored
Millwork secured into studs and real structure, not just glued or nailed to drywall, so it holds up over time instead of loosening.
Finished to a real standard
Caulked seams, filled nail holes, and clean paint prep, the difference between a feature wall and a DIY project someone attempted once.

Common questions

Before you reach out

What's the difference between board and batten and shiplap?
Board and batten uses vertical strips over a base panel for a raised, geometric look. Shiplap uses horizontal overlapping boards for a more rustic or coastal feel. We'll walk through which fits your space during the consultation.
Can you work around outlets, switches, or existing fixtures on the wall?
Yes, electrical elements are planned into the layout from the start, so the finished wall reads as designed around them, not patched to avoid them.
Will an accent wall work in a bathroom or other humid space?
It depends on the material and finish. Some materials and finishes hold up better in humidity than others, we'll recommend what's appropriate for the specific room during your consultation.
Can I see accent wall styles and finishes in person before deciding?
Yes. Our Fort Myers showroom has millwork samples staged in person, by appointment.
